I found this on FB market place tonight. A one owner S2000 with 292,000 miles which seems to have done 24/7/ 365 daily driver duty in central Wisconsin.
Honestly it looks pretty great considering the mileage. It’s in about the same condition as your average NB Miata with half the miles.
However I still think it’s not worth a dime over 1500 bucks and it a major CP.

Wow, this guy is a trooper. I’ve gone so soft out here on the coast that I can’t imagine.

With those miles and rust, I’d say $3500 would be fair

It’s an insanely overbuilt engine.

I've never seen a rusty S2k... Weird.

I very nearly bought one as my DD several years ago, but decided I wasn’t good enough of a driver to tackle winter weather in it.
Wisconsin ? That’s serious winter for a RWD sports car. Big props.

More than $1500 more than my Toyota with a V8, 4wd, a bed and no rust of the same vintage.

Not really, most years the SW part of the state is cold but tends to have low snowfall. Lake effect snow happens in Michigan, high winds happen in Wisconsin.

For some reason I always thought they were an aluminum body. Obviously I was wrong.

Once you approach 300k miles, it’s hard to sell a vehicle ( that i sn’t a Tacoma). $7500 is wishful thinking.

You’ve never lived in Wisconsin. When I lived there EVERYTHING was rusty. My neighbor had a Dodge Ram.... I really have no idea how it just didn’t fall apart. It was so badly rusted out that I bet if I kicked it it would just implode.
